Why We Started
We believe travel can be more than sightseeing.
It can be a chance to meet people you would never otherwise meet, understand a different way of life, give your time to something meaningful and return home with a new perspective.
That's why we created this volunteer experience in Sri Lanka.
Our goal is simple:
To bring people from around the world into a genuine Sri Lankan home, connect them with the local community, and create an experience that is meaningful for everyone involved.

To connect volunteers with schools, children's homes, elder care centers, and community organizations through meaningful service projects while promoting cultural awareness, heritage preservation, education, and social responsibility for the benefit of local communities.

Hi, I'm Diwasi, the founder of Volunteer Sri Lanka with Diwasi.
I created this little home with love, hoping to give travellers more than just a place to stay. I want you to experience Sri Lanka through our culture, our people, our food and our everyday life.
